The messenger RNA (mRNA) and lipid nanoparticle (LNP) manufacturing processes must occur at very specific process conditions. To facilitate those conditions, we manufacture more than a dozen different buffers that are used in various process steps.
The manufacturing of these buffers is done at a variety of scales, from large scale within the fixed tanks to small scale made on the benchtop. These buffers are made utilising purchased raw materials mixed with Water for Injection (WFI) that we produce at the site.
