The warehouse is where the last of the steps of mRNA vaccine production takes place— the ‘release’ phase.

Once the products have gone through a detailed review of process execution, batch records and quality testing, they are released 1 month after manufacturing and filled into vials in a sterile environment.

The finished mRNA vaccines stored in freezers in the warehouse and are distributed to the NHS and other vaccine providers in the UK.
