Our labs have three main areas of focus: vaccines, therapeutics and oncology.
Our clinical laboratories include a containment level 3 (CL-3) laboratory, which is used for high-risk biological agents and hazards due to it being fully contained, air-tight and leak-proof to prevent the escape of hazardous pathogens, enabling us to safely study infectious diseases and support global health resilience.
All of our laboratories utilise automated liquid handling which involves using robots to precisely transfer tiny amounts of liquid in the lab. It’s faster, more accurate and more consistent than doing it by hand—reducing errors and saving time. This helps scientists run more tests, get reliable results and speed up the development of new treatments.
